For the Women Whose Mother Never Clapped for Them

For the Women whose Mother never Clapped for them…
I see you, you are not alone.

You are remarkable and can't
be cloned.

For the Woman whose Mother never seemed impressed... your contributions to the
world keep me from being depressed.

For the Woman whose Mother
never told them they were pretty, I'd stop and take your picture like your my favorite sight in the city.

For the Woman whose Mother never Clapped at her accomplishments or cheered on your dreams, I
am clapping so hard for everything in between.

For the Woman whose Mother never Clapped when she won, I'm jumping up and down on
the sidelines dressed like your mascot for fun.

For the woman whose mother never Clapped, you have my standing ovation, you're a force to be
reckoned with & your success can't be taken.

To the woman whose Mother never Clapped, when I see you in a dress I'll pause, hold my mouth & take a step back, so when someone else calls you breathtaking you'll know it's a fact. xTo the Woman whose Mother never Clapped maybe it's because they don't know how, maybe it's because no one Clapped for them, maybe they are clapping on the inside but the thought of their overlooked dreams steals the joy of being happy or present

for you.

For the Women whose

Mothers never Clapped let’s try to give them grace, they raised us in a world that wasn't
always kind to them. For the Women whose Mothers never Clapped I am not making excuses
for them I am simply just empathizing with them. My heart goes out to the Mothers who never Clapped
because they don't know what they are missing, those sweet smiles, silly grimaces & eye-sparkling
love

To the women whose mother never Clapped make sure you clap for your child for all
those moments where it was
only you proud of you, and you standing up in the crowd offering yourself the kind of
standing ovation and acknowledgement that

women titled mother usually give. & take that picture of yourself and put it on the fridge. Although your
inner child is full of treasure some Mothers just lack the capacity to dig, so if they never learn to Clap,
try to learn to forgive because for all those

moments they didn't Clap they

probably wish they did.
